Stepping Stone, Inc. provides residential housing and programs for persons with catastrophic impairments. Stepping Stone is based on the belief that there are individuals who sustain a catastrophic disability and even after comprehensive rehabilitation programs are not able to return to a functional life style with family, a significant other or on their own. These individuals need to reside in a structured, supervised setting in order to attain and maintain their maximum independence and quality of life.

- To protect the Rights and Dignity of each and every individual we serve.
Presently, we have two locations:
Dorsey’s Place – Totally barrier free. Situated on a beautiful 1 – acre parcel in the beautiful city of Southfield
Pat’s Place – In the small community of Inkster. Conveniently located between Detroit and Ann Arbor. This wheelchair accessible home offers private rooms
